Why I've Been Using the Breville Barista Express for 5 Years
As someone who drinks coffee every day, I've gone through my fair share of coffee makers over the years. But one appliance that has earned a permanent spot on my kitchen counter is the Breville Barista Express. I've been using it for the last five years, and it continues to make excellent espresso with very little fuss.
What first drew me to this machine was its all-in-one design. The built-in conical burr grinder means I can go from whole beans to espresso without needing extra equipment, and the adjustable grind settings make it easy to fine-tune my coffee depending on the beans I'm using.
One feature I've especially appreciated over the years is the consistency. The machine uses digital temperature control and a low-pressure pre-infusion process, which helps produce balanced, flavorful espresso shot after shot. Whether I'm making a quick morning espresso or taking the time to craft a latte, the results are reliably good.
The steam wand does take a little practice, but once you get the hang of it, it creates smooth microfoam that's perfect for lattes and cappuccinos. It's one of the reasons I haven't felt the need to upgrade to a more expensive machine.
Another thing worth mentioning is durability. After five years of regular use, my Barista Express is still going strong. With basic cleaning and maintenance, it's held up remarkably well and continues to perform like it did when I first bought it.
Right now, it's also available on Amazon at one of the better prices I've seen in a while. If you've been thinking about upgrading your coffee setup or finally investing in a quality espresso machine, this sale is worth checking out before it's gone.
